This portal meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 which is an EU Regulation on data protection and privacy in the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also meets WHO data protection standards available here. No information will be made available to any organization other than WHO without your permission. Each time you use a new tool you will be asked to confirm, or have the option to change, your data privacy settings between the following two options:

Please indicate whether you agree that WHO MR data are shared with the national IPC focal point coordinating the survey in your country/region. This only applies to you, if you have been invited by your national IPC focal point and take this assessment as part of a nationally coordinated survey in your country. Facilities can also independently take part in the WHO global survey by submitting their assessment data. Only the name and type of the organization/facility will be shared along with the assessment data. The other identifier variables (e.g. name, role, job title, training, experience) will not be shared with the national IPC focal point
